| History: |
Kira was born on Betazed but was raised on starships her entire life. She loves shipboard life and wouldn't trade it for the world. Her parents were killed at the battle of Wolf 359, there bodies were never recovered. Just before the Odyseus was destroyed her mother put Kira in an escape pod. She watched the Borg take over her parent's ship. That image is seared into her memory, forever.
She spent 1 year on Betazed with her Aunt Sida and then joined Starfleet. She found her interests paralleled thoughs of her mother for she entered science track, specializing in counseling and medicine, even dabbled in command. But she also has a quick mind and can take care of herself in a fight, this inherited from her father. Not a day goes by that she does not think of her parents. She misses them deeply. Her one great sadness is being the only member of her immediate family left. She enjoys reading and exercising. Keeps her body in shape and clears her mind. |
