| With a re-fit of the traditional Intrepid class starship, she was capable of traveling faster than a standard Intrepid, and was also equipped with a Multi-Vector Assault Mode. |
| First Mission |
| During the Nightwing's mission in the Delta Quadrant, there were several encounters with hostile and friendly races. Unfortunately during some of the hostile encounters we lost some good officers and crew. |
| Mirror Universe |
| The Nightwing has also twice encountered the Mirror Universe, in which the Terran Empire still exists. |
| "Starbase McCoy" |
| The Nightwing has returned to the Alpha Quadrant after the successful return of the USS Voyager, and is now assigned to Sarbase McCoy as a science and exploration vessel. |
